Cambridge and London day trips!

So my dad surprised us all with a 2 day trip to London and Cambridge which was really fun! Obviously, the journey wasn’t that enjoyable (3 hours in a car to London) but the company was great and it went quicker than I expected! I did record  a cinematography piece of my trip which I will link at the bottom of this post, please share and like it ❤️. 

So firstly, we travelled to oxford street for shopping which was so fun, it was really busy but everyone was dressed so well I got a lot of inspiration from them! We went into muji which is a stationary/ clothes store and I fell in love with their pieces but they were very pricey.

We stayed in oxford street until night then we ate at an Indian place which was delicious! We also visited the Omani embassy which was honestly so gorgeous (footage of the amazing design on my vlog!) and we met the man in charge. How cool! Then we travelled to Cambridge which was 2 hours away, this journey was enjoyable as I loved sightseeing through the window. The contrast between the hustle and bustle in London compared to the peacefulness in Cambridge was so refreshing. 

In Cambridge we went on a tour in the boats which was lovely, it was an hour long but felt like 10 minutes! I would deffo do it again!

Classy eyeshadow look

Need a fresh new makeup look for the summer? This simple yet stunning eye look will make you stand out from the rest and screams elegance! This is perfect for beginners especially as it only needs 4 eyeshadows, an eyeliner and a mascara. Easy peasy!

• All the products i have used will be shown at the end of this post!

Step 1: Prime those eyes!

To start off prime your eyes, this is optional but it helps your makeup stay on all day long! I used the makeup revolution eye primer which is amazing as it’s lightweight and doesn’t make my eyes too tacky. And it was only £2.50, bloody bargain! 

Step 2: Add a transition shade and deepen the crease

For my transition shade I used an orange eyeshadow from NYX cosmetics (sorry I don’t know the exact shade as i put the shadows in a palette 😦 ). I focused this in the centre and outer corner of my crease to define my eyes and make the look more dimensional. 

As you can see this created a super subtle canvas for us to work on.

Step 3: Glitter her up bby!

Now for the fun part! I used 2 glittery shades from the i heart makeup parental advisory palette to add a bit of glam to the look. Adding a glitter to your eyes will make you look more awake as it makes your eyes appear more open! Fake it till you make it lovelies! Apply the lighter shade in the inner corner of your eye up to the centre, then use the darker shade to darken up the look slightly. Again, we do this to add dimension to the eyes!

Step 4: Line yours eyes and lengthen those lashes!

For the final step all you need to do is line your eyes, i used the Maybelline liquid eyeliner to create a thin cat eye. This both lengthens the eye and the flick makes your eyes appear bigger. This is definitely the hardest part in the whole look so take your time with it. Practice does make perfect! Then add Mascara to lengthen your eyelashes, you definitely need this step as it completes the whole look! That’s it! Congratulations you now have a BOMB eye look ready to slaayyy all your selfies! Here’s the final look!

My summer bucket list 2017!

There are a lot of things i want to do over the summer but so little time! My mind is full of ideas that i need to pour into this screen before i forget! I may be a little late for some of the you but to me, summer doesn’t begin until the summer holidays begin. Leaving me with 1 month of free time, aaahhh what a blessing holidays are.

1) Have a water fight:

THIS ONE MAY SEEM SIMPLE BUT WITH THE WEATHER PLAYING UP AND THE SUN HDING AWAY, THE CHANCES OF WATER RELATED FUN ONLY SEEM TO BE HIGH WITH RAIN.

2) Have a barbecue with friends:

BECAUSE NOTHING IS MORE SUMMERY THAN A BARBECUE- MUSIC, DANCING AND GOOD FOOD. WHAT A DREAM.

3) Have a picnic during a sunset:

CALMNESS AND SERENITY ENJOYED WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY, THERE’S JUST SOMETHING SO AMAZING TO ME ABOUT WATCHING A SUNSET WITH GOOD PEOPLE AND ENJOYING GOOD FOOD WITH IT TOO (NOT TO MENTION SUNSET LIGHT IS THE BEST LIGHTING FOR SELFIES AND AN AMAZING BACKGROUND FOR GROUP PICS!)

4) Go zip-lining:

AS AN ADVENTURE SEEKING PERSON THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN A DREAM OF MINE, LETS HOPE THE SUN COMES OUT FOR A DAY FOR ME TO ENJOY IT. TO BE FAIR THOUGH I DON’T THINK THERE’S ANYWAY I WOULDN’T ENJOY IT, A LITTLE RAIN NEVER HURT ANYONE. UNTIL THE NEXT MORNING THAT IS, WHEN YOU WAKE UP WITH A HORRIBLE COLD. WORTH IT THOUGH!

5) Go hiking:

I HONESTLY THINK I’M THE ONLY WELSH PERSON WHO HASN’T GONE HIKING, SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES YET IT NEVER CROSSED MY MIND. I JUST THINK IT WOULD BE SO MUCH FUN LOOKING DOWN AT THE VIEW.

6) Go Go Karting:

DRIVING AT CRAZY SPEEDS SOUNDS LIKE SUCH FUN AND I’VE ONLY BEEN ONCE. I’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO DRIVE BUT I’M ONLY 15 SO RACING WILL HAVE TO DO FOR NOW! NOT TO MENTION I AM SO COMPETITIVE THAT ANYTHING THAT INVOLVES A HINT OF RACING EXCITES ME.

7) Join the scouts:

I MAY SEEM A BIT TOO OLD FOR THIS, I MEAN A 15 YEAR OLD DOING SCOUTS IS PRACTICALLY UNHEARD OF BUT I’VE FOUND A MUSLIM SCOUT GROUP NEAR ME AND MANAGED TO CONVINCE MY FRIEND TO JOIN WITH ME. I’VE ALREADY SIGNED UP SO I GUESS THIS IS A BIT OF A CHEAT ITEM AS IT’S GUARANTEED TO HAPPEN BUT I’VE BEEN WANTING TO DO IT FOR AGES AND I’M SO GLAD I GOT THE CHANCE TO DO IT!

And on that note, i’d like to wrap up this post. AAAHH ENDING ON AN ODD NUMBER WHYYYYY? Honestly i just can’t think of anything else! Leave me some ideas in the comments on what you want to do this summer and i may steal a few 😉 Thanks for reading, byeeeee!

Delicious Arab Ice Lollies

looking for the perfect summer treat? well, look no further because i have found and perfected the most refreshing recipe you’ll ever eat!

so you’ve found the best cool me down? Let’s get on with the recipe!

once you’ve gathered all the ingredients its time to get started, firstly in a small pan pour in 4 cups of milk along with a fifth can of condensed milk ( only about 5 table spoons). Then add the rose water although i wouldn’t recommend this step if you are a picky eater as it is a strong flavour that you either love or hate. It can make or break this recipe. After you’ve completed these steps stir it all together, don’t worry if the mixture isn’t smooth because we will address that in the next step. Now you’re nearly done! Simply add your food colouring and mix it all together. If you find that the condensed milk hasn’t quite melted with the rest of the mix, put the pan on the cooker over medium heat for a minute whilst continuously stirring. The recipe is now complete! Divide the mix into the plastic cups filling them half way, break barbecue skewers in half and add half to each cup. You can also use a plastic spoon for this too. The reason i prefer to use plastic cups rather than molds is because it gives it that homemade rustic look as well as giving you a bigger serving!  Its a win win!  Finally, refrigerate overnight and enjoy the delicious treat in the evening as the perfect cool me down!

Hey cuties! This is a blog I’ve dedicated to my life, it’s literally me on paper (or laptop, sorry guys I’ve been watching too much love island!), so as I was saying it’s going to have a variety of content like recipes, hauls and days out. There’s a little bit for everyone.
